Awesome Humans

What does good look like in your software ecosystem right now? Each ecosystem here answers with opinions distilled from the published writing of awesome humans: people and publications with at least two years of sustained, accurate, independent writing about it. Every opinion leads with its recommendation, cites the sources it rests on, and targets the latest released versions.

Software ecosystems

  • .NET: C#, F#, ASP.NET Core, EF Core, the runtime and the libraries around them, targeting the latest .NET release.

Every ecosystem has the same layout: opinions, one topic per page; copy-paste-ready templates that encode them; and the roster of awesome humans the opinions cite. More ecosystems will join with the same shape.

Using it

  • Point an agent at it. Tell your coding agent to follow the opinions for your ecosystem, such as "Follow the conventions in https://github.com/si618/dotnet-awesome-humans when writing .NET code."
  • Scaffold from it. Copy the templates into a new project, or have an agent check an existing codebase against the opinions.
  • Read it. Each opinion page gives the recommendation, the rationale, and the sources behind it.

How it works shows how sources are vetted and how the opinions stay current.
